Braid with faux bun

Though this hairstyle is very easy to create, it looks sophisticated enough to be worn for a date night or for a wedding. I usually wear this sometimes just for outings with friends and family. I have turned quite a lot of heads with this one! This hairstyle is most suitable for medium length hair but if you have long hair you can make some adjustments.

1. Lets begin. First we part our hair into two halves from front to back.

2. Start braiding. Grab some hair at the crown area from one of the halves, divide into three sections and start braiding. As you braid, go on adding little piece of hair just like in french braiding but here you add pieces only from one side. The direction of the braid should always be straight down and aligned to your face. Continue braiding until you have no more hair pieces left to add then braid normally till the end. Secure with a clear rubber band.

3. Repeat the step 2 for the other half of the hair. If you do these steps correctly you should look like a red-Indian princess! Don't go out entertaining your folks yet, we aren't finished.

4. Take one braid and wrap it to the back of your head. make sure you don't have strays at this stage. Secure the braid with bobby pins. Repeat the process for other braid, tuck the end underneath the first braid, bobby pin it in place.

5. Add bobby pins to secure the braids and you're done. Add some flower accessories to maximize the effect.
